Julie Verhoeven is a Fashion Illustrator that experiments with simple stylistic  line drawings of woman using selected inks for splashes of colour. She usually draws her subjects from a profile angle rather than straight on which gives it interest and intrigue . She uses different weights of line to make her line drawings come to life, and often includes a surreal element in her illustration.

To me her work is successful because of her refinement, she has not go overboard with detail but merely suggested things. this will translate very well with creative minded individuals as they will fill in the gaps in their heads .
