Junko Mori

Junko Mori is a Japanese metal worker who like Jacqueline Ryan (my previous post) crafts intricate art sculptures out of metals. Both artists take inspiration from nature and natural forms which I believe to be the important essence as to why their work is so beautiful.

I love the detail and the complex structure that Mori has used the negative spaces that can be seen through the gaps are almost as important as the wires that we can see. it would be an amazing piece to photograph as we could play with the shadows and light that moves through it.
